FASRI welcomes non-French speaking children up to and including Kindergarten. From G1 and up, FASRI accepts children from accredited French schools only.
Please attend one of our Open Houses November 7th, 2009 and/or January 9th, 2010, from 10am -1pm! No registration required.
The application deadline for 2010/11 is January 31, 2010. Please call 401 274 3325 for an admissions package and full details of the admissions procedure.
Parents / guardians who wish to apply for admission to the French-American School of RI (FASRI) should:
- Complete an application form and return it with a $75 non-refundable application fee by January 31st.
- Schedule a parent meeting with the Director of Admissions, Education Coordinator or Head of School (can be combined with a visit when possible).
- Schedule a student evaluation.
- For preschool, Pre-K, and K applicants: provide a FASRI evaluation form completed by the current preschool or daycare program when applicable. For G1-8 applicants: provide a copy of the last three report cards from the current school. All relevant materials must be received by FASRI by February 26th at the latest. Incomplete applications will be considered by the Admissions Committee.
- Upon notification of acceptance in mid March, first time registration is secured by a non-refundable tuition deposit, ($1000 for preschool-G5 and $1250 G6-8) required by March 25th or by the date indicated on the contract as apppropriate.
Applications must be received by January 31, 2010 for entry in September 2010. We encourage you to send in your applicaton as early as possible. After January 31st, new applications will be considered according to availability of space.
Applications and waiting lists are not carried over from one year to the next.
