FASRI Financial Aid 2010/11
FASRI is committed to helping families who face financial challenges and does as much as it can to support qualified financial aid applicants.
In order to apply for FASRI Financial Aid or French Government Scholarships, students must be currently enrolled in the school or have formally applied for admission. To be eligible for financial aid, students must show consistent academic proficiency, positive behavior and respect for the school's mission and values.
To process an application, we need by the deadline of February 26, 2010:
- A completed Financial Aid Application form, also available in the office.
- A sheet giving relevant background and details of your circumstances so that the Financial Aid Committee has all of the information it needs when determining awards.
- A copy of your 2009 W2 and 2009 federal and state tax returns.
- A Parent Financial Statement (PFS) processed by SSS. To complete a PFS online, please visit SSS. If you prefer a hard copy of the PFS you may get one from the front office. SSS will send FASRI the completed PFS directly and a copy will also be sent to you for your records. FASRI's school id number at SSS is 3276
Applications will not be considered if they are received after the deadline: we must receive your letter and tax returns by the application deadline. You must have submitted your Parent Financial Statement to SSS by the same deadline. Families are informed of the Financial Aid Committee's decision around March 15, 2010.
Financial aid applications are accepted for students in Kindergarten and above. For families with more than one child at FASRI, the school will consider younger siblings in the lower grades.
SSS charges $40 to process an application. If you require a waiver, please contact Louise Jakobson.
